Craig Road Improvements, Phase II

	Project Owner City of North Las Vegas Location North Las Vegas, Nevada Project Cost $9,000,000

Construction Management for $9 million project for improvements of Craig Road from Berg Street (west of I-15) to Commerce Street. The scope of work included roadway excavation, grading, asphalt pavement, curb and gutter, sidewalk, median islands, driveways, street lighting traffic signal modifications, sanitary sewer lines, waterlines, utility relocations, fiber optic lines, and storm drain improvements (RCB up to 10’ x 5’) at the Las Vegas Wash. Craig Road was a major arterial that would carry significant traffic volumes. Scope involved extensive coordination with utility companies and successful implementation of formal partnering.

This project was awarded the Project of the Year for 2004 by the Nevada Chapter of American Public Works Association (APWA).
